Answers to questions we often get from people evaluating TopLeft
- What are your security practices?TopLeft's security practices, from SOC 2 Type II and SSO to encryption and PSA API permissions.
- How do you protect our data?Your data is critical to you, so it's critical to us too.
- How does drag and drop work?You can drag and drop within a column to adjust the "rank", or priority compared to other cards.
- What goes in the columns?Columns are all mapped based on the project, ticket, activity, or opportunity status in your PSA.
- We have thousands of open tickets, can we restrict what is shown on a board?As a best practice, we have discovered that it's best not to have more then 50-100 tickets on a card.
- What about Closed Loop emails in PSA?Send closed loop emails from the Enter Time/Note screen, and message people when you assign them to a ticket.
- Can you schedule tickets and projects?When you schedule somebody to a ticket, it will immediately update the PSA.
- Can you create projects or tickets?You can create projects from TopLeft, but a full project with phases and a work breakdown is still best built from a PSA template.
- How long does it take for updates to show up in the PSA?TopLeft always sends an immediate API request to ConnectWise or Autotask to update the record there.
- What about sales opportunities and activities?Adding sales opportunities into AutoTask is planned for later in 2023 after the new UI/UX project is complete.
- What about task checklist on a ticket?You can view, create, and update tasks and mark them as completed.
- Do you have MS Teams integration?You can link to Kanban boards from Microsoft Teams and embed them in Teams tabs.
- Are there any email notifications?A resource assigned to a ticket in TopLeft can be notified by email.
- Do you have a trial?We will work with you to create highly usable Kanban boards that your managers, dispatchers and technicians can use right out of the gate!
- How does pricing work?Our regular pricing page explains the various licensing plans.
- Do you have a mobile app?On a phone or tablet you can load boards, edit and dispatch tickets, and enter time and notes.
- Why is TopLeft better than Monday.com, Trello, Asana, or MS Planner?TopLeft is purpose-built by an MSP for MSPs.
- Do you have Gantt charts for Project Management?TopLeft has Gantt charts for projects, and they work alongside your Kanban boards.
