What about Closed Loop emails in PSA?

Send closed loop emails from the Enter Time/Note screen, and message people when you assign them to a ticket.

Legacy interface

This is done via the 'Enter Time/Note' screen on any ticket. This screen mimics the one in your PSA with similar behaviour. 

Further, when assigning resources to tickets via drag/drop or the Manage Resources screen, you can optionally message those people to inform them.

Make sure to configure TopLeft with the relevant email settings for your PSA:
